HCSO joining 31st Annual MLK Parade in Tampa

Sheriff Chad Chronister and members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will join in the celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr at the 31st annual MLK Parade in East Tampa today.

Sheriff Chronister and deputies will toss beads and walk the 2-mile-long parade route filled with floats, marching bands and local organizations that display the diversity of Tampa Bay.

The parade runs from noon to 4 p.m. today. The staging area is located at Cuscaden Park, 2900 N 15th Street. The parade will march down 15th Street and end at Middleton High School, 4801 N 22nd Street.
