The Hillsborough County Department of Detention Services is converting all inmate communication services from Viapath/GTL to Smart Communications. The scheduled date for the transition is October 28. After the change is effective, all inmate communication will be via the inmate tablet. Friends and family may create an account on the Smartinmate.com website.

You may send messages and photos to an inmate by setting up an account at www.gettingout.com. Once an account has been established you can send and receive messages from inmates and send photos subject to the restrictions, for a fee.
