Sheriff Chad Chronister is proud to announce a significant milestone in the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office's efforts to empower and equip inmates for a brighter future.
Ten female inmates have successfully completed the automotive training program at the Falkenburg Road Jail for the first time. This achievement marks a crucial step in providing inmates with valuable skills to transform their lives and contribute positively to the community upon release.
"With each completion of our vocational training programs, we witness the transformational power of education and skill development," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Equipping inmates with practical expertise not only gives them hope for a better future but also contributes to the overall welfare of our community. We are immensely proud of these ten women who have demonstrated determination and commitment in pursuing automotive expertise."
The graduation ceremony will feature a demonstration by the ten female inmates who have completed the automotive training program.
