The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting resulting in a death in Tampa.
On September 3, 2026, at 5:58 p.m., deputies responded to the 8200 block of Woodgate Court in response to a shooting. Deputies found an unresponsive adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The male was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
