Man Arrested for Creating Computer-Generated Pornographic Images

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man for creating computer-generated pornographic images of several different victims.

On March 13, 2024, three adult victims reported there were computer-generated nude images they had found of themselves online. The computer-generated images were made from the original clothed images of the victims posted on social media platforms. The software utilized to create the nude images took the victims' original photos and removed the victims' clothing.

After a thorough investigation, a suspect was identified, Sammarth Gautam, 18. On April 22, 2024, he was taken into custody by the Lakeland Police Department and is awaiting extradition.

"This man's despicable actions will not be tolerated here in Hillsborough County," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "I am proud of our investigators who were able to get this man off our streets and justice for the victims whose privacy was disgustingly violated."

Any further information on this case will come from the Public Affairs Office.
