What is the Purpose of the Grant?
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office cares about our community and firmly believes criminals should pay to help improve it.
For these reasons, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has made funds seized from criminal activity available to put back into building our community. We are currently accepting grant applications for up to $3,000 to assist in this goal.
Who Can Apply?
Directors or Officers from non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations are encouraged to apply for these funds, which can be used for items to improve:
- Parks
- Community buildings
- Recreational areas
- Recreational equipment
- Projects that promote community involvement
Monies must be used for items that can be touched. Applications that emphasize community involvement will receive special consideration.
The organization applicant must be a current board member or officer for the organization and on record with the Florida Department of State or other governmental agency if incorporated outside of Florida.
How to Apply
Grant applications must be typewritten, accompanied by all required supporting documents, and received within the application period: April 19, 2024 - May 19, 2024, at 5 p.m.

Supporting Documents
Supporting document(s) may be attached to the 2024 grant application. Each document must reference, in the upper right-hand corner, the organization’s name and employer identification number.
A completed IRS Form W-9 must be submitted as part of this application. Use version IRS Form W-9 Revised March 2024.
