UPDATE: JUNE 3, 2026 AT 3:45 P.M.
In addition to the stabbing investigation, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a separate death investigation at 3600 East Fletcher Avenue in Tampa.At this time, detectives believe the stabbing suspect is the deceased individual involved in the death investigation.
The next-of-kin notification is still pending. The name of the deceased will be released once notification has been made.

ORIGINAL: JUNE 3, 2026 AT 10:30 A.M.
On June 3, 2026, at 4:26 a.m., HCSO's 911 Dispatch Center received a call from a man reporting that he and another individual had been stabbed at an apartment complex on North 46th Street. Both victims are currently in stable condition.
All individuals involved have been identified and accounted for.
The suspect and one of the victims are students at the University of South Florida.
This is an active investigation, and any update will come from the Public Affairs Office.
