Misdemeanor Probation

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Misdemeanor Probation Services Unit provides comprehensive case management, intake processing, monitoring and supervision of all misdemeanor offenders placed on probation or community service by the Hillsborough County Courts. Probation Specialists enforce compliance with court-ordered conditions and update the Court through investigative, and violation reports which aid the Court in determining appropriate sentencing for offenders. The unit provides referrals to offenders for community resources and programs which promote higher success rates while reducing recidivism.
