Brittany Muller, Public Relations Coordinator
Brittany Muller serves as a Public Relations Coordinator for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. In this role, she supports strategic communications and media relations that help connect the agency with the community it serves.
Since joining #teamHCSO in January 2026, Brittany has brought her experience in public-facing communications and relationship-building to support Sheriff Chronister’s mission of serving and protecting Hillsborough County.
Before joining HCSO, Brittany spent nearly a decade as an investigative reporter and anchor, most recently at News Channel 8 in Tampa. Throughout her journalism career, she was dedicated to uncovering impactful stories, informing the public, and giving a voice to the people and communities she covered. She now applies those same skills to helping keep the community informed and connected to the Sheriff’s Office.
Brittany earned her degree from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. A Fort Lauderdale native and proud Floridian, she is honored to serve the Tampa Bay community and help share the stories that reflect HCSO’s commitment to service, safety, and community.
