Camille Gayle is a Public Relations Coordinator for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. She helps shape the agency's communications and strengthens connections with the community.

A proud Tampa native, Camille joined HCSO in March 2025, bringing nearly a decade of experience as an award-winning journalist.

Before joining the Sheriff's Office, Camille earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Florida International University. She worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer in newsrooms across the Southeast, where she earned a NATAS Southeast Emmy Award as a Morning News Anchor. Her work was rooted in truth, accountability, and giving a voice to those who often go unheard.

An esteemed member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and the National Association of Black Journalists, Camille is ecstatic to be back in her hometown to support the Sheriff's Office's mission of transparency and public trust to serve the community that raised her.

Camille enjoys spending time with family and friends, and can usually be found anywhere there's football.
