Before You File a Registration Online

All reports submitted online are subject to public release per Florida Statute §119.

Filing a false registration is a crime.

Before filing a registration online you must verify you meet the criteria listed below:

Incident happened in Unincorporated Hillsborough County
- These city limits are NOT unincorporated Hillsborough County:
  - Plant City
  - Tampa
  - Temple Terrace
- Verify your incident location
You are 18 years or older
Not an emergency (Call 9-1-1 for emergencies)
Not an in-progress crime
Not in immediate danger

After You Complete an Online Registration

After you complete the registration online you will:

See the words "Your online registration has been submitted" showing that your registration is complete.
Receive a confirmation email that your registration was received.

Registration Process

All registrations filed online will be reviewed by Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.
Upon review, if more information about your registration is needed, you may be contacted.

Registration Copies

If you need an official copy of the registration you filed online, please visit our Records Request Center. There is a 36 hour process time for review and transcription of the registration.
