The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting in Bloomingdale.
On Monday, March 11, 2024, just after midnight, the HCSO Communications Center received a call reporting one person was deceased after a domestic altercation. When deputies arrived, they discovered an adult male with upper body trauma in the 3000 block of Polumbo Drive.
Once his family can be notified, the Public Affairs Office will release the man's information upon request.
This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. This is an active investigation; any updates will be released by the HCSO Public Affairs Office.
