UPDATE, JUNE 20, 2026:
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection
with a homicide that occurred on June 19, 2026, on Tuscan Loon Drive.
Detectives learned that Kyle Sanchez, 35, killed his girlfriend, Amanda Roark, 37, while they were at the home together.
Sanchez is charged with Premeditated First Degree Murder with a Weapon. However, Sanchez remains in the hospital, and a booking photo is not available at this time.
ORIGINAL RELEASE, JUNE 19, 2026:
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of a homicide investigation in the Palm River area.
On June 19, 2026, just after 3 p.m., deputies responded to Tuscan Loon Drive following a 911 call reporting an emergency at a home.
Once on scene, deputies located a deceased adult female with upper body trauma. An adult male, also at the home, was transported to Tampa General Hospital with minor injuries and is in stable condition.
At this time, this appears to be a domestic-related incident, and all parties involved have been accounted for.
