Three Arrested for Grand Theft

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has arrested three juvenile males after they stole a vehicle in Brandon.

The Auto Theft Unit investigated a call from a victim whose car had been stolen on March 10, 2024 from his residence on Palm Key Circle. The victim also noted that he had a gun and four loaded magazines in the console of that vehicle.

On March 11, 2024, detectives were able to locate the vehicle on Deerbrooke Creek Circle in Carrollwood, where deputies found three males entering the stolen car.

Rashard Holder, 16, Kelvin Holder, 12, and Lamor Hendricks, 15, all fled on foot when deputies moved in to initiate the arrest. While fleeing, the juveniles discarded the stolen firearm, along with an additional firearm, and keys to the vehicle. Rashard Holder then attempted to break into a home to hide from deputies.

"The Auto Theft Unit continues to prove to be an asset to residents of Hillsborough County," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Their diligence and proven track record of recovering stolen vehicles should warn anyone considering committing this crime: they will find you and hold you accountable."
