Two shot, one dead in Ruskin shooting

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting in Ruskin.

Just after 11:00 a.m., on March 18, 2021, deputies were called to the 200 block of 8th Street NE for reports of a shooting. Once on scene, deputies located two adult males with gunshot wounds. One male was pronounced dead at the scene. The other male was transported to South Bay Hospital and then transferred to Blake Medical Center in Manatee County. His condition is unknown.

All parties involved are accounted for and cooperating.
