The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of two people in Dover.
On June 15, 2025, at 3:12 p.m., HCSO Communications Center received a call reporting that a male had been found dead with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.
At 3:29 p.m., deputies arrived at the Oaklea Manor Apartments located at 12783 East US Highway, where they found the male dead inside one of the units. Deputies also discovered a female deceased with upper body trauma.
Detectives believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
The Public Affairs Office will release the names of the deceased when next of kin is notified.
