Missing and Endangered Child Found Safe

Lesly Mendoza, 5, has been found safe in Pennsylvania.
 
Her father, Alfredo Mendoza Mendez, 24, has been taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police on a warrant issued by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. He is charged with removing a minor from the state or concealing a minor pending a court order.
 
 

ORIGINAL RELEASE

On January 17, 2020, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Child Protective Investigations Division (CPID) attempted to speak with an endangered juvenile, Lesly Mendoza, 5.
 
Investigators believe that Mendoza is endangered due to alleged abuse. 
 
CPID obtained a Take Into Custody Order for the child, but have been unable to locate the child or her father.
