On Wednesday, February 17, 2021, Sheriff Chad Chronister was pleased to present several community partners with funds from the "Safe Neighborhoods" grant.
Through the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners’ “Safe Neighborhoods” grant, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office donated $10,000 to four local organizations dedicated to preventing crime. These organizations were selected based on their continuous efforts to build stronger communities by investing in local children. The organizations selected are G3 Life, AMIKids, Pace Center for Girls, and Starting Right, Now.
“Keeping this community safe and building stronger tomorrows isn’t just an individual responsibility. It’s a responsibility this whole community shares,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "You are not just changing lives. You're saving lives."
